The promotional offer described below (the “Offer”) is available from August 5 to December 31, 2026, inclusive (the “Offer Period”), and is available only to merchants located in Canada who meet each of the following criteria (the “Eligibility Criteria”):
The merchant enters into an agreement for the Moneris Online Ordering platform (the “Online Ordering Agreement”) with Moneris Solutions Corporation (“Moneris”) during the Offer Period.
The merchant selects and commits to a fixed twelve-month annual plan for the Moneris Online Ordering platform (the “Annual Plan”).
The merchant completes all onboarding, menu-submission and implementation requirements established by Moneris or its service provider.
The merchant’s Moneris Online Ordering account is approved, activated and made available to accept orders (the “Go-Live Date”).
The merchant is not participating in another Moneris promotion, discount or incentive applicable to the implementation fee for the Moneris Online Ordering platform, unless otherwise authorized by Moneris in writing.
Merchants that fulfill the Eligibility Criteria will receive a one-time credit of $249.99, equal to the standard initial menu setup and implementation fee for the Moneris Online Ordering platform, subject to the following terms:
Implementation-fee invoice. The merchant will be invoiced the full $249.99 implementation fee upfront for the initial menu setup and implementation of the Moneris Online Ordering platform. The merchant remains responsible for paying this invoice in accordance with the payment terms set out in the Online Ordering Agreement.
Issuance of credit. Moneris will issue a credit note in the amount of $249.99 to the merchant’s account. The credit does not reduce or cancel the original implementation-fee invoice.
Application after Go-Live Date. Once the merchant’s account reaches its Go-Live Date, Moneris will apply the credit against the merchant’s first monthly invoice for the Moneris Online Ordering platform.
Remaining credit balance. If the amount of the merchant’s first monthly invoice is less than the available credit, the remaining credit balance will be applied to the merchant’s second monthly invoice. If necessary, any remaining balance may continue to be applied to subsequent monthly invoices until the full $249.99 credit has been used.
No cash value. The credit must be accepted as awarded and cannot be substituted, transferred, refunded, exchanged for cash or applied to amounts other than eligible Moneris Online Ordering monthly fees, unless otherwise determined by Moneris.
One credit per merchant. The Offer is limited to one $249.99 credit per eligible merchant, regardless of the number of Moneris Online Ordering locations, accounts, agreements or services associated with the merchant.
Activation required. The credit will not be applied until the merchant’s Moneris Online Ordering account has reached its Go-Live Date. If the account does not go live, the merchant will not be eligible to have the credit applied and will remain responsible for the implementation fee and any other applicable amounts.
Twelve-month commitment. The merchant must maintain the Annual Plan for its full fixed twelve-month term. If the Online Ordering Agreement or Annual Plan is terminated before the end of that term, the merchant may be required to repay the amount or value of any promotional credit received, in addition to any other applicable early-termination charges, fees or amounts under the Online Ordering Agreement.
Taxes. The $249.99 promotional credit applies to the implementation fee before applicable taxes, unless otherwise specified by Moneris. The merchant remains responsible for all applicable taxes and any amounts not covered by the credit.
Other fees. The merchant remains responsible for all other fees and charges under the Online Ordering Agreement, including monthly subscription fees, payment-processing fees, transaction fees, optional-service fees and applicable taxes.
No combination with other offers. The Offer is not valid or combinable with any other promotion, rebate, discount or incentive applicable to the Moneris Online Ordering implementation fee, unless otherwise authorized by Moneris in writing.
No obligation to approve services. Moneris is under no obligation to approve a merchant for the Moneris Online Ordering platform or any related services. Moneris reserves the right to determine whether a merchant qualifies for the Offer in accordance with its applicable policies, procedures and approval requirements.
Applicable agreement. Following satisfactory approval, merchants will be required to enter into and agree to be bound by the Online Ordering Agreement and any other applicable terms and conditions. In the event of a conflict between these Offer terms and the Online Ordering Agreement, the Online Ordering Agreement will govern, except with respect to the specific promotional credit described in these Offer terms.
Changes to the Offer. Subject to applicable law, Moneris may change, withdraw, suspend or cancel the Offer at any time. Any changes will not affect a merchant that has already accepted the Offer and entered into an eligible Online Ordering Agreement, unless otherwise permitted by that agreement or applicable law.
Moneris, its officers, directors, employees, shareholders, promotion agencies, agents, successors, assigns and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages arising out of or relating to the Offer, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
By participating in the Offer, the merchant agrees that any dispute, claim or cause of action arising out of or connected with the Offer will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class proceeding, except where such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
By participating in the Offer, the merchant agrees to release and hold harmless Moneris and each of its parent, subsidiary, affiliate and related companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any loss.
