  • Merchant Direct v2 is the new improved reporting platform for you to obtain transaction reports, access monthly statements, process refunds, manage disputes as well as manage your Moneris account with us. 

    Some of the benefits of Merchant Direct include but are not limited to:

  • The switch to Merchant Direct v2 is being rolled out in phases to help ensure the best transition experience. 

    Once your account is ready for the migration you will receive an email notification with details on how to start using Merchant Direct v2. You will also receive a message centre message within the existing Merchant Direct with the temporary credentials to setup your account. Once you complete the registration process you can start using the Merchant Direct v2 platform.

  • Just like the existing Merchant Direct platform, Merchant Direct v2 is free to use. There is no fee or cost associated with this migration. 

  • Support for Merchant Direct will be provided until your account is ready for migration to Merchant Direct v2. Once you are invited to register for Merchant Direct v2, you will receive the restriction and retirement dates for the existing Merchant Direct platform. 

    Migration is mandatory for all users as the existing Merchant Direct platform will retire later this year. In addition, new features will only be available in Merchant Direct v2. Therefore, migration to Merchant Direct v2 helps ensure you receive the best merchant experience.

  • Looks like your account has been invited to register for the Merchant Direct v2 platform. Simply navigate to your message centre within the existing Merchant Direct and open the message “Your new Merchant Direct has arrived!” which contains the temporary credentials to setup your Merchant Direct v2 account. Register and start using Merchant Direct v2 to access your day-to-day reporting. Your existing Merchant Direct account will be restricted and then retired completely on the dates communicated to you via the email notice you received.

  • Looks like your existing Merchant Direct account has been restricted as part of the migration towards Merchant Direct v2. If you have already registered, simply login to Merchant Direct v2. If you have not registered yet, simply navigate to your message centre within the existing Merchant Direct and open the message “Your new Merchant Direct has arrived!” which contains the temporary credentials to setup your Merchant Direct v2 account.

If you have not registered yet, simply navigate to your message centre within the existing Merchant Direct and open the “Your new Merchant Direct has arrived!” message, which contains the temporary credentials to setup your Merchant Direct v2 account.
    You can order new Products and Supplies on Merchant Direct v2. However, ordering new Card Plans will be available later in 2023.

  • Looks like your existing Merchant Direct account has been retired as part of the migration towards Merchant Direct v2. If you have already registered, simply login to Merchant Direct v2. If you have not registered yet, please connect with our contact centre via Moneris.com/Support/Contact to get setup on Merchant Direct v2.

  • If your registration did not work, log in to the existing Merchant Direct again to restart the process. If this option is unsuccessful, please connect with our contact centre via Moneris.com/Support/Contact.

  • Merchant Direct v2 has a refreshed homepage with left navigation menu while the original Merchant Direct has a basic tile-based homepage without a left navigation menu.
