The following steps will allow you to turn Clerk IDs on or off, create a new Clerk ID, and manage Clerk IDs.
Turning on Clerk IDs allows you to identify which clerk processed a transaction. You can then generate reports such as transaction totals by clerk and tip totals by clerk.
From the Quick Setup menu, tap Clerk
Enable and set up Clerk ID's for your staff.
1. Clerk IDs - Turn this setting on if you want the terminal to prompt for a Clerk ID.
2. Tap the toggle beside Show Clerk IDs to display your current clerk IDs.
3. To create a new clerk ID, tap Add Clerk ID - Key in a new Clerk ID (minimum 1 and maximum 6 numbers, then tap Save.
Save Your Changes
Tap Save when you are finished setting or changing the Clerk ID settings.
The screen will return to the Quick Setup menu.
