In this feature of The Moneris Mosaic we shine a spotlight on Pao-Lan Ladouceur (she/her, they them).
Pao-Lan is a translator at the Montreal office who will be celebrating 3 years at Moneris this year. In addition to their daily tasks, Pao-Lan (she/they) is currently co-lead of the PRISM Employee Inclusion Group (EIG), which focuses on supporting employees from the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and their allies. This group also raises awareness across Moneris about the lived experiences of this community and the challenges that it faces in the workplace and elsewhere. True to her values, Pao-Lan likes to take part in new initiatives and deepen her knowledge on a variety of topics.
In this audio clip, Pao-Lan discusses the importance of the French language at Moneris, a bilingual business, and its intricacies when it comes to translation. She will also talk about her involvement with the PRISM EIG and what it means to employees.
Together, let’s appreciate the beautiful mosaic of unique stories, like Pao-Lan’s, that shape our exceptional team at Moneris.
