British Columbia Flooding Relief Efforts
As response efforts are underway and residents are evacuated in places throughout B.C., our thoughts are with those who have been impacted by the flooding across British Columbia. We know you are living with uncertainty and the priority is on safety for you and your community. When you are ready, we are here to help you get your payment systems back on track as quickly and easily as possible.
To lessen the financial impact and support businesses in B.C., Moneris:
- Waived our monthly account fees such as terminal rental fees, account service package fees, and minimum MDR for three months starting November 15, 2021 for active accounts in areas ordered to evacuate as outlined by Emergency Info BC. Notifications have been sent to affected merchants in these areas.
- Monthly account fees such as terminal rental fees, account service package fees, and minimum MDR can be requested to waived for up to three months in surrounding areas that may also be affected and are identified by Emergency Info BC.
- Service representatives are available to assist with any questions, including replacement devices, whenever you are ready
- Can also provide mobile or ecommerce solutions for you to accept payments remotely, if applicable to your business
