Base Configuration Menu

The terminal's Base Configuration menu allows you to configure the base to which your terminal is (or will be) registered.

Note: This menu can be accessed from the Configuration menu or by using Admin Code 17.

The parameters are listed in the order they appear on the menu.

BASE CONFIG	Allows you to:
CONVERT BASE	Enable the base for contact-based terminal registration.
REGISTER BASE	Register a terminal to a communications base.
BASE IP SETUP	Configure the Ethernet/IP settings for the communications base to which the terminal is (or will be) registered/connected. Note: This menu item appears only the COMMS TYPE parameter is enabled for ETHERNET.
SET TIME-OUT	Do NOT use this function unless directed to do so by the Moneris Merchant Service Centre.
