Use the Balance Inquiry function to check for available funds on a pre-paid credit card in a separate transaction (not as part of a purchase transaction).
IMPORTANT: Balance inquiry transactions are applicable only to pre-paid credit cards. They are not applicable to Interac debit cards, private label cards and credit cards.
A cardholder is able to swipe their pre-paid credit card to determine the remaining balance. The balance will print on a receipt that must be given to the card holder.
