Use this function to set up a Terminal Name associated with your Merchant Number on a terminal you want to include in Multi-Terminal Reporting. The terminal must communicate with the Moneris host in order to complete this function.
1. On
the applications
menu of the terminal for which you want to add a name, select
DEBIT & CREDIT.
The message "Activating App..." is displayed, then the transactions
menu appears.
2. Press the green OK key to display the CONFIGURATION menu.
3. Select
Terminal Name.
If the "Password:" prompt appears, key in the manager
password and press the green OK
key.
The Terminal Name menu appears.
4. Select
Add Terminal to add the terminal
name.
The "Terminal Name:" prompt appears.
5. Key
in the terminal name for this terminal and press the green OK

The "Send to Host?" prompt appears.
6. Select
Yes to send the terminal name
to the Moneris host to be added to and associated with your Merchant Number.
The terminal communicates with the Moneris host then displays "APPROVED"
and beeps.
7. Press the green OK key to return to the Term Name Config menu.
8. Press the red CANC ANNUL key twice to return to the transactions menu.
