Credit Pre-dial

Credit Pre-dial enables the terminal to begin dialing the host before data is entered by the cardholder during a Purchase, as a way to speed up dial transactions. By default this feature is disabled.

Note: This feature is not applicable to merchants using ethernet (IP) communications.

Note: Do not enable this feature if you are using multiple transaction features such as tip processing and cashback, as it will initiate multiple calls to the host, thereby slowing down the overall transaction.  

To enable credit pre-dial:

• Set the Credit Predial feature to On.

To disable credit pre-dial:

• Set the Credit Predial feature to Off.
