Starting a Loyalty Card Transaction from a Partial Approval Purchase Transaction

When the UPDATE POINTS TO ANOTHER CARD? prompt appears during a Partial Approval Purchase transaction:

1. The terminal displays the following prompt:

UPDATE POINTS TO ANOTHER CARD?

YES                         NO

If the cardholder has a Moneris Loyalty card, the key to select YES. Proceed to step 2.

If the cardholder does not have a Moneris Loyalty card, the key to select NO. Proceed to step 4.

The terminal displays SWIPE OR ENTER CARD.

2. Swipe the Loyalty Card on the terminal; OR Key in the Loyalty Card number, and press the green key

If the ENTER CLERK ID entry screen appears ...

The ENTER TOTAL AMOUNT entry screen appears.

If the "Info Data PRESS OK" prompt appears (prompt text is variable, e.g., it could be customized to display "Tracking Code PRESS OK") ...

If the "Bonus Code PRESS OK" prompt appears ...

One of the following Benefit prompts/entry screens may appear depending on your loyalty program's configuration:

If the "Pre-Tax Amount PRESS OK" prompt appears ...

If the ENTER BENEFIT AMOUNT entry screen appears ...

If the "Info Data PRESS OK" prompt appears (prompt text is variable, e.g., it could be customized to display "Food Amount PRESS OK" or "Amount PRESS OK") ...

The PROCESSING message appears, and then APPROVED appears while the merchant copy of the Loyalty receipt prints.

3. The transaction is processed and the points are added to the card.

4. Press the green key to print the next cardholder copy of the Loyalty receipt.
