The MANUAL ENTRY parameter appears once a password has been entered on the terminal (see Password Protection on Manual Card Entry for instructions).
From
the READY screen, press the Admin 
key twice, key in 08,
and press the green 
key. The GENERAL PARAMETERS screen appears.
Press the key to scroll down the options until MANUAL ENTRY appears.
Press
the green key
to select MANUAL ENTRY. The
ENTER MAN ENT PASSWORD prompt appears.
Key
in the manual entry password and press the green key.
Do one of the following:
To
prevent staff and customers from being able to manually enter card
data on the terminal, select OFF
(the default selection) and press the green key. The GENERAL PARAMETERS screen
appears.
To
allow staff and customers the ability to manually enter card data
on the terminal, select ON and
press the green
key. The GENERAL PARAMETERS screen appears.
Press the red 
key twice to
return to the READY screen.
