You must prepare your terminal before you process transactions:
2. Depending on the SIM card that you received with your terminal, do one of the following:
Rogers SIM card: Go directly to step 3. You do not need to change the default APN setting.
Telus SIM card: Go directly to step 3. You do not need to change the default APN setting.
Bell SIM card: First change the APN setting by referring to APN value. Then proceed to step 3 below to check the status indicators on your terminal.
3. Confirm the communications status of the terminal:
- Mobile (3G) Connection Status
4. Initialize the terminal.
5. Log onto the Moneris Host.
6. Configure optional features.

Once the terminal is ready to use, practise performing transactions in Training mode to ensure that any errors made while learning to perform transactions do not affect your business account.
