The 3G Setup Menu

The terminal communicates with the Moneris Host over a wireless 3G network.  This menu allows you to configure the 3G Communication parameters (3G Communication is enabled by default).  The parameters are listed in the order they appear on the menu.  

3G SETUP

 

APN

Configure only if the SIM card installed in your terminal is labelled with the wireless network carrier name "Bell."

LOGIN

Do NOT configure unless directed to do so by the Moneris Merchant Service Centre.

PASSWORD

Do NOT configure unless directed to do so by the Moneris Merchant Service Centre.

SIM CODE

Do NOT configure unless directed to do so by the Moneris Merchant Service Centre.

CONNECT T-OUT

Do NOT configure unless directed to do so by the Moneris Merchant Service Centre.

 

 To navigate through the menus:

- Scroll down: press the key_f1-r.jpg key to move the highlight bar down.
- Scroll up: press the key_f3-r.jpg key to move the highlight bar up.
- Select a highlighted item: press the key_okay-r.jpg  key.

From the TERMINAL SETUP REQUIRED (or REINITIALIZATION REQUIRED) screen:

1.  Press the key_admin-r.jpg  key.
The MAIN MENU appears.

2.  Scroll down to CONFIGURATION, and press the key_okay-r.jpg  key.
The CONFIG FUNCS menu appears.

3.  Scroll down to 3G CONFIG, and press the key_okay-r.jpg  key.
The 3G SETUP menu appears.

4.  Scroll to APN, and press the key_okay-r.jpg  key.

5.  Scroll down to MONBLPUB (i.e., if BELL SIM Card is installed), and press the key_okay-r.jpg  key.
The 3G SETUP menu appears.   

6.  Press the key_cancel.jpg key once.

7.  When 3G CONNECTED PRESS OK prompt appears, press the key_okay-r.jpg  key.
The TERMINAL SETUP REQUIRED (or REINITIALIZATION REQUIRED) screen appears.
