If yourcommunication base is using dial communication to communicate with the Moneris Host, the terminal will ask the base to dial the Moneris Host each time you begin a transaction. (The base does not make any noise when it dials.)
Under normal conditions the terminal will not indicate the status of the dial line.
If there is a problem with the dial communication, an error message will appear.
