What's new in the latest release

Go Retail app on the Moneris Go Plus terminal. Did you know you can process transactions and manage orders without your computer or laptop? Refer to Using the terminal app to find out more about using Go Retail on the go, including making use of the terminal's built-in barcode scanner.
User roles / user accounts. A new restriction is available for user roles/profiles to prevent users from seeing orders placed by other users. Refer to User roles - Fields and functions in the user role panel.

Promotion management. Streamline the checkout process by creating a promotion that automatically applies a discount to specific products or categories when customers make a purchase during a specific time period. For example, set up a promotion that applies a 10% discount on all summer products sold in the last two weeks of August. Promotions can be modified at any time, including deactivating or deleting them. Refer to Promotion management overview to learn more.
Exemption from all taxes. Selling products that are exempt from both PST and GST? Go Retail now accommodates this situation. Refer to Tax settings.
Reports in the web app. There are two new reports available in the web application. The Product sales report summarizes sales and refunds by product. The Cashier sales report shows sales information organized by cashier ID/user ID, including product sales, returns, and cost.
Report in the terminal app. The report on the terminal app shows gross sales, total refunds, and net sales by payment type. You can filter the transactions by date, by payment method, and by employee.

New app for the Go Plus terminal. You now have the option of accessing Go Retail on the Go Plus terminal instead of or in addition to the web-based interface. Refer to Install the Go Retail app on the Go Plus terminal.
Exemption from PST. Selling products that are exempt from provincial sales tax? Go Retail now accommodates this situation. Refer to Tax settings.

French user interface. You can now use Go Retail in French. To find the the French user help, refer to the French support page at moneris.com/fr-ca/soutien/moneris-go/pdv-go-detail.
Responsive design. When used on a tablet or smartphone, the Go Retail transaction screens will adapt to the size of your device.
Adding a product with variants. We heard your feedback and made changes to the screens for adding a product with variants.

Bulk upload. You can now use a spreadsheet to add multiple products in one operation. This will save you time if you have many products to add to your store.
Itemized receipt printing. Print itemized receipts directly from your Moneris terminal. When you're on the go, there's no need to carry a separate receipt printer. Refer to Purchase / New transaction.
Name change. We've made a small change to the name of the product (Moneris Go Retail POS) to keep things clear and in sync with our other products.
New login screens. Go portal, the home of Go Retail, has implemented a two step process for signing in. First enter your email address. On the next screen, enter your password.
