Understanding the tickets printed from the Kitchen Printer

If you have a kitchen printer, refer to the diagram and table below to understand the layout and contents of the tickets that print from the kitchen printer.

 

 Number Description
1 Order Source: This label will indicate if the order is placed for Take Out, Online, or Kiosk.
4 Time: This label shows the date and time that the order was sent to the kitchen. 
6 Bill no: This is the unique ticket number on this particular order. With each order sent to the kitchen, this number increments. 
7 Menu items: This lists the item by its name. Below the item name and indented are the modifiers, such as size, side dishes to accompany it, any add-ons, and any comments that the customer made while ordering. Items are listed in the order in which they were entered onto the tablet or terminal. 
8 Quantities: The numbers here indicate the quantity of the menu items that need to be prepared.
