Step 1

Log in to the Merchant Resource Center

Follow these directions to log in to the Merchant Resource Center.

Open a web browser and go to moneris.com/mrc. The “Merchant Resource Center” login page appears.
Enter your Merchant Resource Center login credentials (Username, Store ID, and Password) into the provided fields, then click Submit.

Note: The Username and Password are defined by you when you activate your Merchant Resource Center account; the Store ID is contained in the Welcome emails sent to you when you signed up for Merchant Resource Center.

Step 2

Generate reports on ecommerce transactions

Follow the steps below to generate reports in Merchant Resource Center for transactions initiated on your Bookmark ecommerce website.

1. On the Merchant Resource Center main screen, click the Reports menu.

2. On the Reports menu, click Checkout Transactions.

3. In the Checkout Transaction Reports screen, click the middle field at the top (the one that displays dates and times). A popup menu appears with several date range options.

Click the date field at the top of the screen, and a group of date range options becomes visible. Options include Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, This Month, Last Month, and Custom Range.

4. Select your desired date range for the report e.g. if you wanted to see all transactions from the past week, select Last 7 Days.

Note: If you do not wish to search using the pre-built dates, select Custom Range and use the calendar tool to select a start and end date and time, then click the Apply button.

Use the calendar feature in the Custom Range to enter a date range for the report.

5. Click the Search button in the top right corner. The report results appear below.

The results of the Checkout Transaction Reports shows the transaction date and time, the ticket number, Order ID, amount, and status.

You can browse through the report and use filters to sort the results. For more information on using filters, changing date ranges etc., please refer to the Merchant Resource Center User Manual located on the Merchant Resource Center login page.

Step 3

Review approved, declined, and blocked ecommerce transactions

Follow the steps below to review ecommerce transactions in the Checkout Transaction Report.

Note: These instructions assume you have already generated the Checkout Transaction Report. If you have not yet done so, refer to the previous instructions.

To view approved orders:

Click the Status filter box at the top of the screen.
Place a checkmark in the Approved checkbox; uncheck all other boxes.
Click the Search button. The results appear below.

To view declined orders:

Click the Status filter box at the top of the screen.
Place a checkmark in the Declined checkbox; uncheck all other boxes.
Click the Search button. The results appear below.

To view blocked orders:

Click the Status filter box at the top of the screen.
Place a checkmark in the Blocked checkbox; uncheck all other boxes.
Click the Search button. The results appear below.

Use the Status filter to select transactions you wish to review.

Step 4

Void ecommerce transactions

Follow the instructions below to void an ecommerce transaction in the Merchant Resource Center that was initiated from your Bookmark ecommerce website. Perform a void to reverse the entire transaction and return the money to the purchaser’s card.

1. On the main Merchant Resource Center page, click the Terminal menu, then click Void.

2. When the Void page displays, click inside the Order ID field and enter the order ID of the original transaction you wish to reverse.

Note: If you only have part of the Order ID, select the begins with or the ends with radio button, depending upon the portion you have.

3. Click the Locate Transaction button.

4. In the "Transaction List" area, click on the Void button beside the transaction that you want to reverse.

5. Click the Process Transaction button.

6. When the "APPROVED" or "DECLINED" response displays on the Void page, the transaction is complete.

7. Repeat steps 2 – 6 as needed to void other transactions.

Refund ecommerce purchases

Follow the instructions below to refund a portion of an ecommerce transaction in the Merchant Resource Center that was initiated from your Bookmark ecommerce website. Perform a refund for individual items, or a group of items, to return the money for those items to the purchaser’s card.

Note: Before you begin, you should be aware of the price of the item plus tax.

1. On the main Merchant Resource Center page, click the Terminal menu, then click Refund.

2. When the Refund page displays, click inside the Order ID field and enter the order ID of the original transaction you wish to refund.

Note: If you only have part of the Order ID, select the begins with or the ends with radio button, depending upon the portion you have.

3. Click the Locate Transaction button.

4. In the "Transaction List" area, click on the Refund button beside the transaction that you want to refund.

5. In the Amount field (in the Transaction Details area of the page), enter the amount to be refunded in #.## format. For example, if the refund amount is $12.46, enter 12.46.

6. Click the Process Transaction button.

7. When the "APPROVED" or "DECLINED" response displays on the Refund page, the transaction is complete.
